Megged, Aharon

Megged, Aharon
(b. 1920)
   Israeli writer and editor. He was born in Wloclawek, Poland, and went to Palestine in 1926 with his family. In 1950 he settled in Tel Aviv, where he edited the journal Ba-Sha'ar and was a founder of the literary magazine Massa. From 1960 to 1971 he was Israel's cultural attache in London. His stories and novels depict modern life in Israel.
